More on how 15 protects vital Health & Human Services…
Any one of us—our children, our parents, our families, our friends—may one day need assistance during a crisis or a trauma. We must make sure those services are there when we need them most.

Renewing support for our Health and Human Services ensures that children, seniors and families will continue to receive the critical services that all of us depend on. Supporting Heath and Human services, supports all of us with…

  • Critical services like the Level One Trauma and Burn Center at MetroHealth, Metro Life Flight and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit—state-of-the-art resources staffed by amazing people who save lives every day.
  • Programs to protect our children who are at risk of abuse or neglect.
  • Home health care and services that make it possible for senior citizens to continue to live independently in their own homes.
  • And programs that ensure our children enter school healthy, prepared and ready to learn.

In this tough economy, these services—and a long list of others—are needed now more than ever.
The Health and Human Services Levy must be renewed.

It is imperative that we protect the children of this county—and that we provide families with the support they need to create healthy, safe, and nurturing environments.

  • Senior citizens throughout Cuyahoga County rely upon services that allow them to maintain their independence and stay in their own homes.
  • MetroHealth Medical Center is one of this community’s most valuable assets.
  • And our children must enter school ready to learn—and equipped to succeed.

Funding from the Health and Human Services Levy can only be used where it matters most…delivering the services that our most vulnerable people—children, seniors, and those faced with a range of crisis situations—need and depend on.

Renewing our support for health and human services does not increase taxes. It protects vital services and saves thousands of lives each year.
