Success Story
Mrs. Pierce was once a Cuyahoga County foster parent, but when she took in her 15-year-old grandson she says, “I was more scared than I ever was as a foster parent.”
She called the DSAS Grandparent/Kinship Care Program for help. Tianna Harris, the DSAS Community Navigator who took her call responded immediately, “I can see you tomorrow.” “Within 15 minutes,” according to Ms. Pierce, “she turned my life around.”
